OLAC is seeking a Web Administrative Assistant

Thanks to Scott M. Dutkiewicz the LCGFT for Moving Image Materials, list has been updated through October 17, 2011 (List 25). This update contains several new terms, two cancellations, and reflects the recent decision to cancel some 90 terms effective Feb. 20, 2012.

This annual award of up to $2,000 encourages research in the field of audiovisual cataloging, and will be appointed on the basis of practicability and perceived value to the AV cataloging community.

CALL FOR NANCY B. OLSON AWARD NOMINATIONS FOR 2012

OLAC's Nancy B. Olson Award Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2012 award. The Nancy B. Olson Award recognizes and honors a librarian who has made significant contributions to the advancement and understanding of audiovisual cataloging. The Committee will select a recipient based on nominations received, subject to approval by the Executive Board at the ALA Midwinter Meeting.
