Call for OLAC Poster Session Proposals

Deadline for proposals: August 31, 2012
Notification of acceptance: September 10, 2012
Proposals are encouraged for poster sessions for the 2012 OLAC Conference, “Post-Modern Cataloging: It's All AV Now!” (More information on the conference theme can be found at http://olac2012.weebly.com/).

2012 OLAC Conference Scholarship Recipient is Chosen

 Each time there is an OLAC conference, a scholarship is awarded to a member who has never attended a conference before.  This year’s recipient is Tricia MacKenzie.  She is a metadata librarian at George Mason University, Virginia.  Tricia is responsible for original and complex copy cataloging of audiovisual materials, as well as training staff in copy cataloging of audiovisual materials.  Congratulations, Tricia! 

Call for OLAC Conference Scholarship Applications

 OLAC will award one Conference Scholarship that will provide funds for a member of Online Audiovisual Catalogers to attend the OLAC 2012 Conference in Albuquerque, NM, October 18-21, 2012.
 
Eligibility:
Any personal member of OLAC who has never attended an OLAC Conference is eligible for the OLAC Conference Scholarship.
