LC Genre/Form Headings for Moving Images Best Practices Task Force
Charge:
This task force will investigate and make recommendations for best practices in implementing Library of Congress genre/form (655) headings for moving image materials, including, but not limited to:
- Developing fuller guidelines for use of LC genre/form headings for moving images, focusing on tricky situations
- Providing more extensive examples of use of these headings
- Making recommendations for potentially controversial situations or where options are provided for
