The roommate service does not make hotel reservations. When you receive your roommate’s name, you are responsible for contacting the other person. OLAC assumes no liability for matching roommates.

Travel Arrangements

Major airport:
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL)

The Atlanta airport is Approximately 80 miles from the hotel.

 

There are two major shuttle services between the Atlanta airport and Macon.

  • Groome Transportation (http://www.groometransportation.com/macon_warner_robbins.htm) offers service on the hour (as well as on the half-hour in peak times) between Hartsfield-Jackson and their north Macon office for $63.00 round trip; dropoff at the Marriott is an additional $10.00.

    A reservation is needed for hotel pickup, but not outbound from the airport; for the latter, follow the signs to ground transportation and look for Groome in the Green lane. The trip takes slightly over an hour.

    Attendees wishing to take the Groome shuttle from the Marriott on Sunday, October 17, or Monday, October 18 should contact the organizing committee (huskey_je@mercer.edu) with their desired hotel departure time.
